Its coming... :spy: hopefully @Gadget@URD has something up his sleeve as well. That would make my new truck decision much more difficult if URD stepped up to the plate on this new truck.

The tech already exists to get the Tacoma suspension past that of a Raptor. It's the power situation that doesn't jive with a lift and big tires.

Man your truck is awesome! Definitely not a sleeper! But then again no one is going to expect the turbos.

    Great truck!

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I agree the Taco is not in the same league as the Raptor but then again the Taco is about as close as I can get in a midsize. None of the dealers around Dallas have a Pro to test drive (that I'm aware of) so I've only driven the TRD OR and it seemed to be capable of doing everything that I want or need it to do. Wondering if the Pro is even worth the additional cost over an OR???

LoL yeah especially if I can get them hooked up to twin snorkels lol. I tried to do a turbo set up on my wife's Raptor as well, but she said she still hasn't used her truck hard enough to justify them. I was like ok that $10k for my truck lol:thumbsup:

I thought the same thing. My thinking the day of purchase was, "even with a simple suspension swap you could easily surpass the capabilities of the factory Fox shocks. Let alone if you reall start dumping cash into it."

Exactly! Plus whoever came up with Toyota's thought process for adding options needs to be fired. Just one example, why would they make Homelink available for the Pro but not for the OR? Makes no sense...

Or remote start? I guess trying to take people to the cleaners twice one for the 16 OR and another time for the 17 pro. Honestly I don't care to have access to my house tied to my vehicle. Far to easy to copy the band off the homelink and to get someones address of the insurance in their glove box. I have a small garage door opener on my house keys which are kept separate from my truck key. So even if they stole my truck at gun point they would at most just get the truck key and not the house to go with it. Just my food for thought, I know if someone want in ypur house bad enough they'll get into it, but I won't be handing them the keys (or radio signal) to it anytime soon.

Yup thats what sold me there. That alone kept me from buying a BAC mono and buying a Tacoma instead. I asked the guy at the BAC place if it came with a factory GoPro mount and he looked at me sideways, like I fried his brain lol.<- Sad part is it's mostly true. I did ask a guy that was selling a BAC mono if it came factory with a GoPro mount trying to be funny, at I just got a blink...blink...blink...sideways stare. He is a good friend of mine so he knows I was just busting his balls, about selling his car.

Agreed. And yeah, no remote start but gopro mount? Why put Homelink on supposedly their most off road capable truck but not on the "less capable" OR. So only the Limited and Pro get it. So goofy. And is it true that on the '16s there's a separate key for locking the tailgate? Why not a remote locking tailgate? But they do build a very solid, reliable truck with one of the highest resale values of any vehicle....I guess you can't have it all. ;-)

Don't get a pro. Get a 2nd Gen since 3rd Gen sucks. Get 4x4. Build it. Half price of raptor. Twice the travel. Add super charger. Not as much torque as raptor but will kill raptor in dirt

Yes, there is a seperate key for the tailgate, but they do sell a pop lock tailgate. Personally I keep my personal stuff range bag, rifel cases, or other stuff in the bed. With the tonneau cover on, I can lock the tail gate and give my keyfob to valet and not worry about them getting in there since the key to my tailgate is with my house keys in my pocket. Just a little comfort knowing it is not easily accessible.

Yeah, she does most of the work to her own truck too. For example oil changes, tire rotations, fender install, ect. I usually just supervise, make suggestions, or am there just to answer any questions she might have. The only thing I did to her truck was the Mid-perch since I wasn't comfortable with her messing with the springs.

LMAO oh no there is people on here that have a 2016 Tacoma Class 7 race truck. From what I was told by the people doing my suspension is up that can be $60K -$100k in work and parts let alone the cost of the truck. This is not the guy on here or maybe he is don't know, either way this is the work I am talking about maybe I will get there someday.13285314_639485306199540_1799578257_n.jpg 13534618_285548068471590_444232215_n.jpg 13402617_634996220003084_986481813_n.jpg
