thanks for that. truth told, if my current knob won't go on then you'll be hearing from me for a custom. i just never wanted to replace my old one since it's so broken in and all. but if it doesn't screw right on i've got a better plan and you can make it. :D

Not the best photo but wanted to give credit where credit is due; although it wasn't cheap, the knob is custom and quality I must admit. The terrible design of the stock knob and the amount of wear and tear it easily shows makes this custom knob even better...

My contribution until I can get a better shot

you are correct that the M12 x 1.25 does not fit, because it's a Hurst arm as it said on the webpage.

i already bought one of those adapters just to hold me over. i need it cus my current knob is tall and i don't like a low shift position.

anyway, @7r41lbr34k3r you can expect an email from me soon. yeah i know i keep saying that but this shifter is getting installed next week so i guess it's for real now. i will email you after it's installed to be exact with things.

    mo money!

Getting there. Almost took a picture last night, but I was in the garage super late making up a new stub nose for my indexer. By the time I quit, was too tired to bother to tidy up for a photo.

I have all of the knobs to the point of pinning the delrin rings on (delrin hybrids are finished though, sans engravings). Before I start pinning I had to make this guy. The 3-jaw chuck that was on there before was not very repeatable in its gripping, so this was a perfect opportunity to make something I wouldn't have to fiddle with. It also gives me more room on the table to slide the tailstock out of the way so I can slip a ring blank over the base knob. Things were pretty tight before with a vise on there, but I should be good now.

Thanks! If all goes well tonight I will put 16 up for sale on Thurs (Time TBA). 5 each of the V2 AT and MT aluminum with delrin ring, 4 MT Delrin-SS Hybrid, 2 AT Delrin-Al hybrid.

There will more of each right behind that.

I should have those all complete tonight minus the engravings. The Ti and SS customs I am making get engraving priority at this point, but everything should move fairly quick anyway.

Yep, but only the trace style on Delrin. Pocketed leaves little hairs that are a real bitch to remove. Wish I had a CO2 blaster, would not be an issue as I could freeze and break the burrs off in a few seconds.
