I did a search for this but came up empty.

My question is really a two parter:

First: Has anyone successfully removed the clear plastic cover on the grille emblem, in order to affix their own graphics in the place of the toyota logo? And then reassembled it with the clear plastic for a semi-factory look? Tips on the dissection process?

Second: Did customizing the emblem interfere in any way with the radar sensor?

My hope is to put my business logo in the place of the toyota logo. B79D3791-9DB2-4709-8934-B3F3ED9366E8.jpg

Some service related business near me has a fleet of 2018+ SR’s and they replaced the Toyota emblem with their company logo. If they got it to work with tss, it should work for you. Plus, the sensor will usually adjust to changes. You may be able to remove the emblem by removing the grille, removing the sensor, and unclipping the pins/clips holding in the sensor garnish.
Here’s is my oem sport grille with tss (I currently run the pro grille):

I’m interested in this as well. The emblem seems to be ABS with a clear outer. Looking at it, I’m not sure how they would come apart (not easily is my guess), but I’m betting you could definitely stick a vinyl logo over it and not affect it.

So my sign guy is going to be printing some vinyl and giving this a shot. It won’t be quite as nice as I was first envisioning, with the clear cover/overlay on top of it. But it should still be a cool effect.

I’ll post an update with pics.

Btw, are there any admins here that could help me post something to the buy/sell/trade section? I know I don’t post here often, but I promise, I’m a contributing member on other forums...

check out a guy on Instagram: c_mento_taco_808. I think he does what you're looking for. I haven't yet, but will probably do so once I get some custom bed decals made.

Looks like he does the vinyl over the emblem, like @HeritageTRD suggested. Actually makes for a very nice look, especially with that matte finish. Mine’ll be glossy, of course.

I just installed c_mento_taco_808 decal a few days ago. Turned out great and haven’t had any issues with TSS
