Yeah, no more designs that say Toyota. I am considering doing a blank pro grille design that could have TTOOYA decals applied by the user, I'd really rather not be sued though. Do you know what color vinyl oracle has that most closely matches quicksand?

I'd love to see how it turns out if you decide to go that route

Quick search, did you mean Oracal for the brand? If so looks like 082 Beige would be as close as you can get..

I removed and painted the OEM one. I like that it matches the rest of the grey trim. It looks a little light in this pic, but it essentially matches the steering wheel grey to ~95%. Sparkles and all.

Put on the steering wheel overlay and mirror knob to complete my interior chrome delete.

First tried double sided tape but found it didn’t quite sit flush on the sides, so I used hot glue instead.

it’s a huge PITA...basically the whole controls unit comes out then you have three layers of screws and tabs, and you have to take apart the gears for the climate knobs. There’s some info in a thread from 2017 of people doing color matched interiors, but there’s not a great step by step guide for it. If I do it again I’ll document better.

Wasn't too bad. 4/10 difficulty probably. More annoying than it is difficult.

Finally got my emblem installed! @JimmyRigged88 is an awesome dude -- helped me with a few issues I had and I couldn't be happier with the final product!

Glued the filament to the back of the new emblem:

    6_newemblemfilament.jpg

Glued it on the back side of the cover then snipped the excess:

    7_filamentthruglued.jpg

    Installed everything back:

No more chrome now thanks to @MESO and @JimmyRigged88:
