It is stupid to say, but this has been one of my favorite mods just from the daily joy it brings.

Thanks again for the instructions, @JimmyRigged88 .

You should have hit me up, I could have sent you one that was already flat. Looks great either way though.
Hot glue definitely is the best way to hold them on I think.

No it’s cool, it’s not completely flat, just sanded it down fairly close, but still rounded around the sides.

Got my TRD steering wheel logo from @JimmyRigged88 and installed it yesterday. This thing is awesome. I used the piece of filament he sent with to mount it to the airbag cover. Just a 1/4" piece stuck into each of the 6 holes on the back of the emblem, secured with a tiny drop of super glue. Then used a soldering iron to melt them down and hold the emblem on just like the stock emblem. Here's some pics.

Hey @JimmyRigged88, can you do one like that with the raised letters using the old school TEQ logo? I dig the way that looks better.

No pucker comments about messing with the airbag. I'm impressed.

None at all. Didn't even bother disconnecting the battery. Toyotas are smart enough to not throw airbag lights even after unplugging them. I've pulled many steering wheels in my days, and unplugged hundreds of airbags. Been running a remote starter shop for 5 years and have been doing remote start installs for way too long. Airbags won't scare me until one blows up on me.

    Wow. Very brave.

Not discounting you, but for myself, I wouldn't trust that without seeing documentation.
