    Hey y'all with the popularity of the Figs aluminum resi and the general dislike for the cheap Trd/Magnusson one- there seems to be interest in custom ones!
    I'm able to do these for $250 plus shipping. Factory location, increased capacity (approximately 32% increase) , reuse factory hardware and bracket. Comes with overflo barb (easily capped) and 1.1 bar radiator cap (15psi)
    each tank is pressure tested to 15-20 psi to ensure they are leak free when you get them.

    Also if someone has ideas on how the resi could be improved one way or the other, I'm open to suggestions within reason. Trying to keep cost low for everyone and avoid one offs as this will be a one time run from me

    Well that's 5 so far including myself. Not a bad start. I'll be pressure testing each unit too. Can't have any faulty products leave my shop.

    I know this would complicate design and what not, and it would probably be something that I would just have to custom fab up but do you think it's possible we could get these made with a tray for an extra fuse box? I have wanted to run one and I notice most people mount their's where the stock tank is.

    Well I'm back from vacation and putting some work into this.

    Looks like factory supercharger uses 3/4" hoses and the 3 bolts that mount it are m6.
    So 3/4" weld in barbed hose fittings X2 (inlet/outlet)
    M6 x either 1.00 pitch or 1.25 pitch. Need to check still or might just include 3 matching bolts
    A weld in radiator filler neck + cap. Found a nice one with a 1.1 bar(15psi) cap and includes an option for a overflow tank or it could be capped.

    Factory plastic tank measures (not counting the cap) 4" - 4 1/8" tall and 3.5" wide or ~40"³ of coolant capacity
    Height and width has room to be stretched some so lets say 4 1/4" tall (plus cap) and 4" wide or ~53"³ capacity A 32.5% INCREASE in size

    I realize that isn't actual capacity as material thickness isn't taken into account but its approximate with approximate increase in capacity.

    Any feedback on this from those interested is appreciated. Currently working on the CAD parts to mate them all together.

    I wouldn’t mind it being slightly large, but I also don’t have an interest in having a massive hunk there either. That small increase you mentioned seems plenty reasonable to me!

    Shit bolted onto other shit, and junk.
    Not 100% yet, but how about a finned body like a metal oil filter housing? It may not help cooking at all though since it is stuck inside the hot engine bay. Could mount it up front by the radiator.

    I don't see how to accomplish this without decreasing size of the tank or relocating it as you mentioned. I certainly couldn't do it without increasing the cost.

    I'll ordered the small stuff tonight. Enough for 2 test tanks. radiator caps / barbed fittings etc.
