yeah, wish you had a Germes option. I can’t live without mine.

Does ABC make anything which works for 2nd Gen?

I’m trying to sort out my plan for my 2002 Tundra so I’m in roughly the same boat except the tailgate handle camera is aftermarket.

I have the connectors for adding turn signal mirrors to an SR/SR5 if you need them. I’ve been sitting on them for several months.

I think i have a weird one. They make up to 09, then 11-15. I think they skipped my year. It seems no one makes a harness anymore for my truck.

i actually don't even need my rear view mirror anymore, due to new camper. But im not sold on those wireless cameras for RVs. I can just tap into the reverse light, with a harness from @Puppypunter . But my concern is with the frequency that those cameras use

Are the connectors you’re referring to for the connection behind the dash, C10? Benefit over a connection by the pedals?

Yes — the C10 connectors are for the combination meter in the back of the gauge cluster. It ties into 1F, the gigantic engine room connector you’re probably referring to. It accomplishes the same thing. Finding a mating connector for 1F would be one extraordinarily expensive project as you’d probably need to buy a mold.

I was thinking about the connector in the mirror itself.

I think I’m just overloaded as is. Every night I’m behind by a few. I haven’t gotten back to projects I started months ago. And my own truck mods are sitting in boxes.

Kyle is great at chasing down connectors and getting harnesses built.

I’d like to focus on a few specific things and try to do them well.

But, with all that said, if I get some time with my ‘02 Tundra, I might have some decent ideas for SR / 2nd Gen. I’m really struggling with what to do with mirrors on that truck.

Got some stuff done last week and tonight, cleared 1, 3 and 4 and 6 self-cleared thanks to r4t's products.

    Priorities:
    1. Headlight harnesses for @Shadowhunter and @Empty_Lord because I want to clear those of the damn list already
    2. My stuff (too much to list but some of the meatier stuff is 3rd brake light, shell flush mount 6 pin deutsch, my own Tundra headlight and perhaps the most interesting one is a new from scratch tow harness with input from the brake controller since I'm picking up my BFF bumper soon, also a s-ton of vleds need to get wired and then there's a switch-pros and dd ss5's and my ssc2 fog lights and ...
Leftovers in order, plan for a wait, I really want to get to my own mods

    3. Hood scoop DRL harness for @TRDPro75
    5. Maybe I consider doing a hitchpod brake harness for @StevieD21

I'm sure other important stuff will come up.

Actually, maybe I'm in a good mood and I'll knock out the one for @StevieD21 before I go to sleep...

@Shadowhunter , Christmas might be extra special this year.

also, I hate H4 terminals. They suck.

Awesome!!! I don’t think the other one is long for the world. I would ditch it but my passenger side plug is dead on the truck side. It’s blown two fuses on the low beam 12v and the relay plug had a loose connection I squished back in.

OK, I *think* this is the last schnag b/c it's all but ready for the final H4 females and UAT. But, there is a snag. Fortunately it's only 12/9 so not quite 12/25, still time.

I can't get 3x12 gauge into the PVC I have on hand. I can do 2 but not 3. @Puppypunter might have a magic trick for me (should I try the wire lead? Will it work? It's so very tight, I'm just not sure. Maybe I'll see.)

I'm thinking I _might_ need to do one of these:

    1. Use loom and tape (and oh how I hate my taping job but still)
    2. Buy some bigger PVC (digi-key is fast on shipping but it is the holidays, still, decent chance this shows up in a week)
    3. Have completely independent power and ground with power supplied from the relay bank and ground supplied via one hoop to 2x12 gauge. This means independent arms for power and ground, it might look more octopus than you'd want.

Let me grab a photo of where it sits right now.

You want to vote on 1, 2 or 3? I'm leaning toward ordering bigger PVC so I can do the next ones for Dan and I. I think I might do that now regardless. Maybe sleep on it and hit me with your preference tomorrow? I did get the relay trigger wired up (did I mention I don't like H4?)

My plan for my own truck is to switch the 3 OEM wires to 090II sealed terminals and use the 3rd gen Tacoma brake connector (triangle) to provide a sealed interface to the harness (can cap the passenger side). But that requires crimping to the vehicle, not easy to do from a distance. Just makes me happier than this H4 nonsense. I'm still stuck on the female side though, no way around that.

I think #2 would be the right way and look the cleanest. If it takes a little longer to get the ordered so be it. The H-4 do suck. I have to bend my prongs on the bulb a little just to keep them from falling off.

Cool. 3/8 PVC ordered. Shopping now for 7/26 heat shrink. I have 1/2” though so probably can scrounge.

Dave, what’s the possibility of you putting together a harness for me that would tie into the passenger side tail light and run this light bar?17F039A2-6C51-4950-9C80-0ED281757327.jpg
