Hello tacoma community, I REALLY LOVE THE OEM FACTORY ROOF RACK for the db cab, unfortunaly there isn't for my access cab. I have an idea, do you think I can cut the racks on the middle and mount it on the access cab because it's too long, I think I will keep them on running position only.
Problem is the fixation do you think I can screw on the roof? Thanks guys hope I can adapt it.

I've heard this can't be done.

In theory it should work, but I am not sure.

And why it can't be done? Are the db cabs models have already the fixation? Because it will be the only problem for me, I know I must keep them on running position only...

Build thread in sig... 4-link long travel
to mound it on the double cab, there is a front and rear mounting bracket for both sides. each bracket requires two screws, so 8 total. to access these holes (which have welded in nuts on the underside of the roof) you peel off that black rubber stripping on the roof. i don't know if the access cabs have them, but i would check, just peel up the rubber stripping (don't worry, it goes back down very easily) and check for 4 holes on each side. if you have them and they are threaded, i don't see a reason why cutting the middle out of a factory rack wouldn't work.

Oh yeah it will be so cool to adapt them on an access cab, it will change the totally look, but I've look and I think there isn't fixation on the access cab.
