D-Rings Mod Help!

    I tried to take out the bed bolts with a t55 and break bar and it started stripping the bolt! :mad: Anyone have some advice on how to get those things out???

    A Few...
    An impact wrench would work. however in your case(mine as well), a breaker bar is what i would use.

    Climb under and clean off the threads and spray them up well penetrating oil.

    By the sounds of it you are on the verge of having big problems.

    I'll be trying the same thing real soon. Seeing as your truck is 4 years old maybe some liquid wrench on the bolts might be in order. I'm hoping my bolts are a little easier to remove.

    I'm gonna use some kano kroil on the bolts and let that soak in. It might be a good idea to just oil the threads before you even try to take them out so you can avoid stripping them.

    it's because bit isnt in properly and moving or at a weird angle. May need someone to hold onto of the bit to make sure it's in and straight.
