    Hello all,

I got my Tacoma a few weeks ago and I've decided to create a build thread to document all of the changes I have planned for it.

So first up... The stock vehicle:
    2011 4x4 6speed manual 4.0 double cab Tacoma.

Here are some pics of it stock:

I installed the anti theft hose clamp mod on my tailgate.

I could not find the ones with the key, so I bought a normal hose clamp. I spray painted it black (just one coat) so it didn't stand out with the tail gate open. I also put a layer of black duct tape on the inside of the clamp so there is some form of insulation between the clamp and the tailgate.

It doesn't look black in the pic but its is. :)

    Nope... well not anytime soon.

I used to have a Hilux with a 3.0 D4D turbo diesel engine. Had lots of torque and I was never worried with water crossings :)

The ABS pump is on the driver's side where the brake fluid reservoir is.

    :D

^^ yep... its great to have power on demand. The exhaust is much quieter than I expect from the inside. You only really hear it at the higher RPMs.

I need to find some trails to test it offroad.
