Ahhh that makes sense then. But it was stock suspension in the rear with a block

Are the 5100s in the Headstrong kits stock length too? Curious if that same fact holds true for 5100s upfront.

They sell stock length ones and "extended length" ones too. Everyone says that you have to get longer brake lines when using the extended 5100s but with Dakars (especially HDs) I don't think the leaf springs will allow enough articulation for the brake lines to become an issue, even with the extended travel. Don't quote me though. My 5125s are about 1.5" longer than stock and they are perfect for me. I can hit some pretty rocky/pitted areas at decent speed and the ride is super smooth. No sway bar helps with he smoothness too, obviously.

Around 125lbs. Nowhere near the 300-600lbs range these things are rated for.

    I didn't take measurements.

So do you have Dakars and 5125s? if so did you install extended brake lines as well? I have Dakars to install, and currently have 5100s in the rear but feel as though I should probably upgrade those to 5125s and with those I should probably have the extended brake lines. Is this correct?
