    Well you cant. :p also my favorite part. Going up obstacle and front tires start coming off, push in clutch, fall back down and you're fine. Also just for convenience it's so much easier to let yourself roll back/adjust position then let the clutch grab and be on your way. Honestly it's not hard to off-road a manual.

    Uhh Dakota we can engine break...

    I've went wheeling with both an automatic and a manual and I'd say automatic is a lot better. You still roll back easily if you are on a slope and you have much more control over the truck.

    Yeah, or 2nd, or 3rd, or 4th. Basically you can treat it like a manual without a clutch.

    Smh. I'm stuck in my ways. I understand some people desiring an automatic in certain scenarios like commuting or something but to me buying an offroad vehicle with an auto is like buying a corvette with an auto... Just why? Hahaha

    NOOOO. Off roading with a auto versus a corvette with an auto is 2 completely different animals.. Crawling you burn out clutches and more things to go wrong. Corvette is a sports car so I completely understand a manual then. For us its just personal preference but you can't compare them, they are 2 different animals.

    No I'm saying it's the concept!! Honestly it's near impossible to burn out the clutch. On a steep hill you just let it grabs and give it gas. I never have to hold it and burn it. The worst thing about a manual off road is crunching gears if you're hasty
