    I'm of the same mindset with that. Prefer manual. Auto is just aiming.
    I've seen some very well built Tacomas that are auto... Still real trucks.
    I just prefer a manual trans.

    The tires a definitely for ok :D I like them. Not too loud, look badass, great in snow, pretty swell off road, just a little small for my liking ;)
    I did cut a lot. I eventually got pretty mad and ripped out almost all the fender lining. I jumped my truck in moab and I almost ripped off the whole entire fender flare. I also had to cut the body mount. I don't know why some people don't rub. I have -12 offset and *I think* 4.25 backspacing. You will have to trim some plastic and it's definitely a possibility that you will have to cut the body mount. If you really want to avoid that look into 255/80/17 or 255/85/16 tires. You get 33" height but a little skinner which helps a ton with rubbing issues. Hope that helps.
