    Hey man fully loaded running around Utah this week the highest I've seen is about 203-209 on long steep pulls it's typically around 190-195 on everything else

    Hahahaha I did confirm no air bubbles in the coolant. I am going to completely pull the radiator when I get it back from the shop and spray out every little fin! Is it possible for radiators to get clogged inside? Like have crap in them?

    Oh yeah, 1 day after I got back I got the bed pulled off and hauled it down to the shop. Kinda was a pain in the ass not gonna lie. That shit is heavy AF!!

    So if I swap to an aluminum front bumper and front skid plate I'm going to be saving 105 pounds... Thoughts? Will this be a good upgrade with the current front suspension set up? Should be less nosediving when leaving the ground lol...

    Yes, your radiator probably looks like the inside of a natural cavern after ten years. When we did my head gasket I replace a lot of other stuff on the front end too :

    1. Radiator was very crusty
    2. Water pump was very crusty and bearings were suspicious
    3. Replaced every belt pulley and idler

    I know ! Mine was the same way it was spewing coolant out of the resi overflow vent etc but the needle never showed a high temp ? Not sure of you remember but that was why I bought my scanguage on our way to that meet last year

    So did you take it to somewhere to have it flushed out with pressure? Or just get a new radiator?

    My water pump and thermostat are both new (well 2 years old and 20,000 miles) but still! I'm very reluctant to go in there. Plus the thermostat works great at holding 185 at idle.

    Correct. They have two versions. The regular upgrade and then the race version. There between 900 and 1400. And you can get them with or without electric fans.
