Well took my stupid cambered in truck to les schwab today for an alignment. My driver side duratrac is already about a 1/4" wear difference on the inside vs outside. They refused to touch it because the UCA ball joints are completely shot and the tie rod innards are shot as well. It was outstanding how much play both had in them!!

So I'm sitting here cussing my IFS. Obviously I'm not gonna return to Light Racing UCAs and good UCA upgrade would be fairly expensive. However I know I still want Long travel so why upgrade to a stock length UCA? Additionally my LCAs don't look great... Looks like this is happening. I'm waiting to hear back from Rock Lobster if he will ship me the Solo +2 Kit (11.5" travel) - if not looks like I'm dropping some serious dinero on the Total Chaos +2 Kit (13" travel). Probably going to have to buy the kit and wait a lil bit on coilovers... Dammit I hate driving a jeep wrangler. Parked the taco in the garage for probably the next month :( Looks like I'm not going to be buying a second vehicle this summer.

Oh well. Hopefully getting a new driveshaft this saturday. I also broke a bolt off my transmission skid haha. Damn I thrashed my poor truck at Rock Therapy.

On the bright side I have $100 to spend at Rebel Offroad and $400 to spend at Relentless Fab! I don't know what to buy from Relentless other than my rotopax!! Any offers for the gift card? Haha

    Will post pics soon.

Keep in mind Lobster's kit is missing $1500 or so worth of gear to be runnable.

It was so much fun! Kinda bummed how messed up everything is though. And It sucks they wouldn't even touch it. Good luck!

The Total Chaos kit is missing about $2500 worth of gear to be runnable AND its $1000 more than Rock Lobster's ;)

It would be about the same price then wouldn't it? If you need another $1500 to make rock lobsters runnable that would be close to at TC kit, no?

Did you relocate your shocks for more of a / \ geometry?

What size limit straps you go with?

I did it to fit a bigger shock in there for my lead springs, they are mounted parallel to the axle, not inboard. Both are mounted forward though.
    Yessir!
Hold your damn horses. Work has been so sucky. Can barely take any time off and it goes to hell

Honesty it was one of the coolest experiences of my life! It's basically the biggest TW meet in history haha.
It's meh about the ball joints. Kind of a blessing because it was my excuse to go LT. Although lately Im just wishing I just spent the 700 bucks for new UCAs because Im really missing my truck. I can't order LT till next paycheck :/

T minus 3-4 weeks until Long Travel :woot: the coilovers need to be made. I'm broke now.

I should write up a new list of things to do. I need to fix my tie rod ends. I'm debating weather or not to put in a new timing cover gasket while my truck is down....

I'm also going to cut 4" of metal out of my fenders but I'm decided weather or not to cut 2" or 3" inches out of the flares for now.... Any thoughts? I'm going to have to cut out 4" for sure when I go 35s but for the mean time I don't think I want to have that much cutout on my 33s.

My best friend is going to a party without me tonight so seems like a perfect night to get drunk and upload pictures haha yeee
