Oh okay makes sense, i don't think I've heard anything negative about fox really except the outter coating doesn't hold up to weather and that you should clear coat them.

Well damn, hopefully the fact that I'm down here in the NM desert will keep most of the corrosion issues at bay.

What's a brass drift? I need to adjust mine. I've got the 2.0 IFPs and I really don't want to buy a wrench for a one time adjustment

A large diameter screwdriver works as well.

Basically put it against the adjustment nut and tap it to go up or down?

Pretty much. lossen the seat, put the wrench in and turn the collar. Wish it was that easy for kings.. Phoenix you can also take yours out and use a spring compressor if you don't want a wrench, can't believe no one around you doesn't have one though..

A brass drift is basically just a large brass punch, you can also use a large steel screwdriver but its going to bite into the adjustment collar a great deal more than the brass. Brass is used to save the softer aluminum from being mangled. Do your 2.0's have evenly spaced holes in the adjustment collars?

Okay that's basically how mine are too, loosen that set screw in there then seat the punch against whichever side you want to go and hammer away, its a slow process for sure. keep track of how many times you see that set screw spin by. Lift that respective tire off the ground to relieve as much spring tension as possible and use some kind of penetrant to make the job easier

So I should put the truck on jack stands and pull the tire then adjust? I think that would relieve the most tension. I'm gonna try to do it this afternoon

Do you know about how many rotations will equal however much lift? Like is 2 rotations a half inch of lift?

Boooo. I'd rather use a wrench. Why would you need to pull the coilover brian?

I'd rather keep $50 in my wallet, especially since over time, any method fucks the collars up anyway. That's a tank of gas in moab! WooHoo!

I prefer to pull and compress the spring, hence why I can get away with a screwdriver in a pinch.

Both methods work though, just get the tire off the ground.

Should I leave the tire on so the weight pulls the LCA down more relieving more weight?
