    I am using the smoker this weekend for my dad's retirement party so I will talk to my buddy this week. This smoker is huge, will probable hold 20 briskets or more.

    I am in as well. The wife and I might ride before hand. We are new to Dallas and have been looking for Tacoma enthusiasts as well as MTB trails. I am waiting to find out my new schedule for work and all, so once I do I ill be pitching in on money, beer, and food.

    BTW: Looking to install wifeys backup cam on the 4runner. Little off topic from the Tacoma but I have read a few threads on other forums and looking for any advice or help. I am thinking it is going to be mounted in the hatch door upper left of the license plate next to the handle.

    So I am looking at Google Maps and all trying to figure out what the area looks like. I see photos and listings for off-roading and all that. I have heard there is not much terrain in Dallas that can be wheeled legally. Do we know if this area allows wheelin?

    http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&sou...072084&spn=0.009648,0.01929&t=h&z=16&lci=bike

    That area specifically.

    So on top off that the bike trail looks great.

    I am excited just o see things I didnt think I was going to run into here. Been in Germany for 3 years I have lost touch with the great state of Texas.

    Not sure what I want to bring yet. I have some extra charcoal I can bring if need be. I might do some burger patties again if there's a high demand and low supply for them.

    I was just throwing 9am out there as a time when I thought most would be up for a ride. I'm down for going a little earlier (it'll be cooler) so if you guys want to do that I'm fine with it. As long as we're not the first riders on the trail so we don't pioneer the early morning spider web destruction. I hate being first.....

    9am sounds good, I'll bring both bikes if someone wants to ride and needs one.

    I think someone asked if there was an extra bike to be had on one of the previous pages. Maybe shoot them a PM. I'm sure they'd like to ride too.

    Damn 20 Briskets, you can feed an army with that kind of food! :eek:

    It would really be great if we could at least get one (Brisket) going for our meet! :D

    def no wheeling.

    the bike path shown in that link is not the mtb trail. it is a concrete trail system.

    this is the trailhead

    the mtb trail is just as easy as a concrete trail, though

    Unless you decide to do "Fun Town" or whatever it's called back there. Some of that will get ya killed if you're not at least somewhat experienced.
