Yes still on for Saturday 3pm at Done Daddy's in Grapevine, if we have a big group and if it's long wait we will move over to the Tilted Kilt across the street. Unless we just want to meet at the Kilt and scrap Daddy's altogether. I'm sure we'll sit around and BS for a while before we go in and eat and have a few drinks.

We can make turtle burgers on tha 15th, if you arent scared to gain some weight or have a heart attack!:D

Handmade ground beef patties, topped with sharp cheddar cheese, wrapped in a bacon weave, then the next step, add hotdogs as the heads, legs with slits for toes and tail.

Next step. Place on an oven rack covered loosely with foil and bake for 20-30 minutes at 400 degrees. A little crispy, not too crunchy...just how a turtle should be, no?

Double Taco, can you update the first post of the thread with the pertinent info for both meets?

I can get my buddies smoker for the meet. I don't think I will have the time to do a brisket but we can use it to grill everything. I will post up some pics of this thing in action this weekend.

Awesome. Brisket is a long ordeal anyways. I'm fine with burgers and stuff.

PS: I'm doing a 100mile mountain bike relay the day before over at North Shore trail on Grapevine Lake. I'll likely be moving slow on the ride when we meet up lol

It's a 100 mile relay so you and another guy each to 50 miles split up into 4 legs each. Should be interesting...

Yea, I did the baseline tests last night and I'm feeling it today. I'm far from the best shape I've been in my life, so we'll see how it goes.

If someone could bring a big bag of charcoal that would be a huge help so we can cook our food.
For those that are coming please post what you are bringing.
    Things still needed:
    drinks
    lighter fluid
    charcoal
    paper plates
    plastic ware
    chips/side items
    ice

I am looking forward to this meet and think it is going to be a lot of fun.
Also I think it would be a good idea if Doubletaco updated the first post with the list of everyone coming and what they are bringing.
