Just got home from working on the lights for the trailer smoker and everything is good to go. I will probable bring some stuffed jalapenos cause they are soooo good.
I am excited about this meet and think it will be a lot of fun.

So what's up with the Beer permit? Are we getting it.?

 

There are 21 people attending the meet according to the list. If everyone pays then I'll have received enough to cover the beer permit. I'll give the park a call here in a bit and see what's up. I know it's $50 but we'll see if we can do it this close to the date.

If I get burned on this I'm going to be a very unhappy Italian

 

Just spoke to the park lady. She said it's supposed to be a week in advance but she is going to speak with the director herself and get them to approve it. I'm about to fax it all over here in a sec. What a pain in the butt...

 

yea, I thought it actually said 45 days in advance on the website but I didn't want to be a debbie downer. Hopefully it works out, because I AM GOING TO GET FVCKING TANKED.

I can bring extra for the permit if we end up with it, doesn't matter to me either way.

 

The park lady just called me back and said she got the fax for the permit and was going to charge my card. Looks like we're in boys. Make it count but keep it clean

I wasn't told about the no glass rule but it's possible. Best bet would be to bring cans. I know that XX and Shiner come in cans. I have to go to Kroger to get those special.
