There are so many pages and threads, I thought I'd give back a bit after all the research I had to do and provide shortcuts for those trying to install Dasaita on 2012 and up where the hazard and clock don't fit the trim. This stereo is really great and after demoing the laggy as hell 1000 dollar pioneer units I really made the right choice.

You will need the following parts

    Dasaita Radio

Canbus04 Harness for factory Camera and USB
You only need this if your backup camera is in the headunit or your have JBL, but it does give you much better steering wheel control options as well. For steering wheel controls go to settings-->Car-->Factory options enter 126 then go to canbus and select toyota rav4 08 leave everything default click apply exit and it will reboot. If you dont' have rear cam working reverse the 2 yellow RCAS because you lost the 50/50 and plugged them in wrong.

Factory to USB harness (needed to retain factory USB/AUX port)

OEM Radio (for bezel to secure hazard clock)
    Look on offerup or craigslist
for a 2005-2011 OEM radio broken for parts. There are tons of them. You just need the clock hazard bezel pictured below. I got a 2005 for 20 bucks. be careful taking apart the bezel. it's easy to break. You will need to take apart the entire radio as pictured below to get it. Take your time and don't force it. Break off the left and right tabs and leave the center one. You will need to trim that one slightly as well. Use the screws from the oem radio and secure it with one screw on top and 2 on side posts. it's tricky to get in but will fit. You don't really need the factory bracket now because with the 5 clips it's secure due to it being pretty light

Factory style duel usb port male to female
    IMG_0765.jpg
Here is some useful option stuff for a clean usb dual port install. I connected the grey usb female to the factory usb and the 2 blue 3.0's to the dual port.

the factory usb port is sticking out because i hadn't plugged it back in yet.

Flush mount usb c quick charge (optional but useful cig lid closes over it)

    Icon Pack
Dasaita icons were ugly to me so I made a pack
installing nova launcher will be helpful to apply them. Set grid to 3x5 to get bigger icons. and set icon slider to 150%

Did you get the metal brackets to mount up? I’ve been putting off going back in there to finish mine up, my double USB I got from EBay came on the slow boat from China and I got it last week. I put the Dasita in back in January. So far it’s been ok hanging on with the plastic clips.

I installed mine a while ago and couldn't find my factory brackets, this is my third aftermarket head unit, so it's being a while now. The clips holds it quite firmly, easy to remove if you need to do any other mods, which am doing anytime I have spare time.
