I put an aftermarket radio in my 2010 taco. I also added 2 12" subs and now when I turn my headlights on my dash lights go out and all fuses are good atleast I think. The only fuse box I was able to find is under the hood. Does anyone have any ideas?

You should also have a fuse box behind the little coin holder thing under your steering wheel. Do you have brake lights? If not then you've blown a fuse. Did you check your dimmer switch? Sounds stupid but I've done this to my self at least 10 times, checked fuses, checked them some more, checked wiring, check bulbs only to find that my switch was turned down.

Checked the dimmer switch its not that. I dont have brake lights so im guessing a fuse but im unable to find a blown fuse in either fuse box

You may have wired up the dimmer circuit incorrectly. I've read a few threads on here where the dimmer circuit of the radio was wired into the dash light rheostat and should have actually been tied into a different circuit. Might want to look into that, because if it's wired wrong it could burn up the dash light rheostat switch.
