Mann even shot an ohm meter through some of them and they light up and show resistance, yet they don't let up when I plug it into my truck. They are all deffinitaly in the right direction too........................................

So I got all but 3 to work. One of them I know why. I must have applied too much heat with the solder wick, because it removed the little metal pad on the circut board. I am not sure if I can reattach it but I am not that concerned with that light. The other two I am stumped. They are the two gauge lights (1 each) on the fuel and battery. I cleaned and prepped the board very well. I am possitive they are in the right direction. When I test them with the Ohm meter, they light up. When I plug in the board, they do not. Anyone off any advice here?????

    Replied Via PM.

    Repeating so others may learn.

Those two, if am right about which ones are not working are in series with one i suspect you broke the pad off of. It is located next to the PRNDL and provides some backlighting to the PRNDL. You will have to repair the broken one. To fix it. Clean off the one good pad. Solder the LED to the good pad. Locate the trace running from the broken pad. Scrape some of the green stuff off the top of it to expose the copper underneath. Solder a small piece of solid wire to the trace and then solder the other end of the wire to the unsoldered end of your LED.

I will try to post an example picture in a bit.

Hey, I'm new to this site but I just got finished with my dash mod and only problem I seem to have is now my oddometor is reading weird numbers and letters. Did you have this problem or do you have any suggestions. Also, did you paint your pins white or change LEDs to white?

    Thanks,
    Phillip

never heard of anyone having this problem. only thing i can think of is if one of the pins got bent when you were reinstalling it. it might throw the thing out of wack if not all the pins are making a connection?

^ these are a direct replacement of the OEM LEDs

but these ones used for the cluster will work as well.

i have used both in the radios i have swapped...the smaller ones are easier IMHO.
