First off, good luck. Dating is a lot of fun. I would do that until someone absolutely floors you. The relationship commitment is when things go downhill... :p

You're 28, don't feel like you have to find "the one".

Usually you find Mrs. Right when you really aren't looking. I didn't get married until 48. That was four years ago. Got all the "hot chick" stuff out of my system.

Don't get me wrong my wife is attractive, but her character and integrity are what got me to pull the trigger. You can't be in the sack all the time, and that "other" time is when you actually have to interact with them.

I am much more prepared for the commitment now.

Not trying to sound like your Dad (although I am old enough :D), but just trying to give you the benefit of my advanced age and experience ;)

Keep us updated on your adventures.

I could use a vicarious thrill or two...:bananadance:

Actually, it was the same girl  I ended up taking her back, things were really good for a while, then started to go south around the holidays again :( So June of 2008 we met, Official feb of 2009. It is now almost feb of 2011. That is 2 and a half years and I wasn't really dating anyone before that I think.

just got finished reading the tapeworm story, freakin hilarious!! i have a pretty strong stomach so it didnt gross me out...much. although some girls do not have a strong stomach. i strongly recommend not telling this anecdote until at least the 12th date, if you make it that far! good luck!

Well the date wasn't that bad. She looked like her picture, minus her hair. She got rid of the long bangs and went short bangs. I HATE SHORT BANGS!!! Ahhh. Her eyebrows were also super thick. Kinda scary. Good potential though. Actually a decent date. No scary stories, wasn't weird, etc. I didn't feel a super connection, but we agreed to go out again.

And I don't plan on sharing the tapeworm story any time soon lol. In fact, I hadn't even remembered it until chris posted it again lol.

I wasn't planning on it ;) It's hard to remember more than a couple girls and their stories and what you guys talked about. I don't know how people can date several girls for more than a couple weeks without going nuts.
