Youth season began today and she was fortunate enough to have one anchored within 1/2 hour of hunting.

    Awesome!

I want to go turkey hunting, never been. Supposed to be pretty good in my area.

Shoot it with a bow or rifle?

Congrats, I know you are proud of her.

Rifle, you can hunt turkeys in your area with one? We can use shotguns or bows.

Sorry, I use the term rifle loosely... it was a shotgun.

Thanks for all of the congratulatory comments everyone. I'll pass your kind words on to my daughter.

Not a problem. I was just checking.

Me & my son, he's 11, didn't get to go this weekend on our youth turkey hunt. He had a baseball tournament. We plan on going the next weekend he has off. I love watching him play sports but enjoy our time outdoors more.
