Day Drinking

So... How many of us start in the AM? How much money do you need to make per year for day drinking to be acceptable?

IMO, start early, end early, wake up early, hit the gym early.

 

What exactly is considered a post on tacoma world ?.. do i have to start my own thread or what ?.

 

Nothing wrong with it, as long as you don't do it at work.

 

I only drink on the job my self .. but no one can fire me because i work for my self .. perks of an uber driver i guess.

 

I don't like to start before 3. Most of my friends don't get to the pub till 4 or 5 anyways and drinking alone sucks. Also, for the critics, I bought my wife a new car so I have car-blanche. I tell her to drive me to the pub and pick me up in 3 hours.

 

Camping: yes. Mimosas in the morning, beer for lunch, whiskey for dinner. Hike, paddle, cook, and whatever else in between.

Mowing the lawn: sure. A nice post mow beer is great no matter the time of day. I'm having one now.


Normal weekend: rarely if ever. I'm not young enough to punish myself non-stop anymore.

Weekday: nah.

Pushing any kind of drinking beyond a very light buzz, nope. The chemical side effect is not my goal anymore, and hasn't been for a long time.

 

Nope, the rest of us are doing the same. It just took me longer to walk into this thread.

 

I used to always drink a nice cold one *while* mowing, to take advantage of the lovely cup holder on the new mower, until I realized how much cut grass I was consuming with my beer. Really took the enjoyment out of it.

 

I just have a simple walk behind.

I always wondered how the not-exactly-balanced engine of a mower would give you anything but foam. Kind of like putting a cupholder on a Fatboy.

 

This started as a joke thread. Hopefully it doesn't get too serious in here.

 

A wise man once told me that you can’t say you drank all day unless you start in the morning….

 

When you’re mowing the lawn on a hot and humid NC day, all you care about is putting cold alcohol in your mouth. Foamy, not foamy, whatever.

 

How are y’all using the weed eater and drinking? Haven’t quite mastered that one yet.
