A rich man drinks only whiskey, a poor man drinks only wine
A middle class man drinks when he can
But a wise man drinks all of the time

Few years ago I flew in from somewhere in the Pacific to Seattle. Plane lands 5:30 AM got a connection back East 9:00 ish. No eatery was open. Nothing in the air terminal was open. There was a bagel shop with a line out door several stores long. 6:30 ish the Sports Bar opens.

Read the menu, they have a breakfast bacon egg sandwich. OJ and coffee I was set. I was in there about 45 minutes. From 6:30 AM about 10 - 15 people came and went for drinks. Bloody Mary was the popular drink of the day. About half the people were in some type of airport uniform.

Just moved to South Carolina. What are the best breweries here?

Good Times Brewing in my neighborhood is good. I'm partial to Benford Brewing largely because we have had some fun TW meets there. Thomas Creek is good. There are several mid and lower state that I have not tried, but Holy City, Palmetto Brewing, and more in the Charleston area are really good. Try some Pluff Mud sometime!

While you're at it, pop into the South Carolina BS thread and ask around for more (probably useless) opinions: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...-under-new-management-and-lives-in-sc.411211/

Really enjoyed Crooked Hammock in Hilton Head.

correction: Crooked Hanmock is in Myrtle Beach. Hilton Head Brewing Company is also good, great Hefeweizen.
