I saw your video on YouTube, looks like things got intense. Got some fine tuning to do then I’m ready to go

It was a good ride, where the two flipped over was an obstacle they tried on our way back out to loadup.

Very impressed with the build. Looks like you southern guys have some really good trails.

Ever make it out west for off-roading?

Would like to make it out west one day. I’m lucky to get a day trip with two young ones though haha you ever wheel over here?

    Family first.

I have not...but the more I see people posting pictures of the trails in the south makes me want to make the journey. We have started the process of moving to TN in the next few years. Now I just have to decide if the crawler should stay in Colorado or come out east.

No brainer, bring it! Tennessee would be right in the center of all the good ones, too.

I'm leaning that way. Just one more trip with vehicles. Maybe I'll buy a midlife crisis car once in TN. That would make life easier.

Anything you would do differently on the build?

I love that I learned everything I have and I'm really glad I went through with it, but I’d take the $23k I just spent, add it to whatever the taco sold for and buy something turn key and caged. that’d be the most sensible thing I think haha

I think I’ll build or buy a bouncer later and keep this as a good family off-roader if the kids ever become interested. Until then I'm going to wheel the piss out of it and enjoy the heat and AC haha

Lowered a bit. Wrapped up good enough for a little shake down at Morris Mountain tomorrow. New to me park and new to me vehicle. Should be interesting.

Morris Mountain is a fun place, kinda muddy when wet but fun.

Only 50 minutes from here, so about the same distance as Chocco. Don’t know who will be out there. Wish you could join.

I wish I could too, I haven't been there is a while. Be careful on The Good, The Bad and The Ugly, they are harder than they look.

I was by myself so I didn’t do much, but I think I did the left side of the gbu. Easiest looking one with the four foot ledge. Played in the rock garden a bit. Truck walked it all, so I’m anxious to start pushing it.

Spoke too soon about not needing to move the rear shock mounts. After all my weight was added I’m still too high in the back. Funny thing is I’m moving the mounts back where they were before the SAS…

I must value life a bit more these days. I removed the battery and covered the slap full gas tank with a welding blanket.

Shocks move up then so does everything else. Hope my tires clear everything. Luckily the top of the axle is about two inches from touching the bed
