If they still made tundras with a V8 maybe. Not convinced of the longevity of putting turbos on undersized engines, but I’m no expert on it. The Ford 5.0 has been around forever.

As in the Bronco the rack is not produced by Ford. The Mfg. may only be providing completes. 74Weld purchases complete racks disassembles them and installs the internals into their housing with a few of their own internal components. The F-150 problem could be a similar issue. Poor tolerances and flex causing the belt to walk out of alignment. You may want to follow up with filing a complaint. Wonder what their reasoning is in using a belt instead of gears?

Wasn’t sure how I felt about these initially, but paired with a camper shell I think it’ll be solid for work and play. They’re very well made and fit like a glove. Picking up my shell from paint tomorrow. Got my steering figured out, took some preload out of the coilovers and am glad to be back in my truck.

Got my shell back from paint. They did an excellent job. Looks like factory.

That does look nice. Did you drop the shell off there or did you have to leave the truck with them? I have one I need to have painted as well

I dropped just the shell off with them. It was my brother in law’s paint and body shop. He knocked it out in a few days and didn’t even charge me haha can’t beat that

It ended up under the hood, but it’s someone else’s problem if it rusts now haha guy that bought it is in Georgia though and nothing rusts substantially down here. Paint is just for looks :anonymous:

One day at a time! I started this journey when I was 21. I had been homeless, in and out of countless rehabs, halfway houses, and was beat down enough to be willing to do whatever it took to change. I’m very grateful for the life I have and a loving, helpful Creator that makes it all possible.

I'm happy you was able to get through it, so many people don't. My son was a Georgia Tech grad, making and trouble stooting Spectrum, Comcast and several smaller companies marketing and acounting software. He loved to play guitar and he carried one of his guitars every where he went but after Fentanyl ended his life I went to Atlanta to get all his stuff and found out he didn't have anything. He made over $100,000 a year and everything he had was in a pawn shop, even his guitars. I found his guitars at a pawn shop two blocks from his house. They told me he pawned a lot of stuff and the last thing he pawned was his guitars. I told them I wanted them and they said I could have them for what they gave his for them. I was shocked when I entered his house, he had his furniture and a bed and nothing else. People just don't know the effect it has on the user, their family and freinds. People think it only happens to the poor and uneducated but it happens to everyone. My son had a nice place in the middle of Atlanta, a great job where big companies depended on him, he traveled all over the country doing what ever he wanted to do and when he died he only had a car that he was three month's late on the payments. I loved my son and was not able to help him, I'm always happy to hear someone beat the hold that stuff gets on them.

Addiction definitely doesn’t discriminate. I’ve met people from all socioeconomic backgrounds. It’s hard to explain to normal people the power addiction has over you. I pawned everything I could, stole from friends and family, strangers. Almost everything out of my mouth was a lie. I knew what I was doing was wrong and I wanted to stop, but couldn’t. Family, doctors, therapists etc couldn’t do anything for me. I was beyond human aide. I was powerless. It was more important than having a roof over my head or food in my belly. I thought the only way out was death. I’m grateful I was able to find another way and I try to help others find a way out, too. It took nothing short of divine intervention, but luckily God doesn’t make too hard of terms for those that seek him.

The woods have trees that get in the way sometimes, but rarely at the right time.

I don’t even know where to start with this story. Dropped the bouncer off with a guy to work on the tcase/trans and he gave me the run around for almost a month. I never pressed him to finish or anything. Finally told him I was coming to get it after he said his buddy was going to finish it for him at his shop since he had hurt his back.

I drove to his place and saw my bouncer with a nice flat tire (gash in the sidewall that wouldn’t hold air for more than a few minutes) Ended up not being able to turn it over either. Couldn’t jump it off or anything. No winch on the bouncer yet and it was sideways in his driveway. So I ditched the trailer and drug the bouncer sideways with the Ford’s winch, then backed the trailer up and winched the bouncer on backwards. Guy never came out of his house and it’s probably good he didn’t. Not only was no work done, I left with a gash in a $980 tire and a bouncer that had been sitting outside in the rain for a month that wouldn’t crank.

I replaced the starter and battery and luckily she fired right up. Just patched the inside of the tire and it’s holding for now. I don’t think the guy did it on purpose. Maybe he fucked the tire up, got scared and tried to put me off until he could figure out a solution. Definitely not the right thing to do, but I don’t think he set out to destroy my bouncer. Lesson learned. I always lose when I hire shit out. I just need to do it myself or only take it to reputable shops from here on out if I’m feeling lazy or dumb.
