It was a major bummer to say the least, but at least my baby is back home and not chopped up in a junk yard or something haha

I'm on like yr 10 now for me. It's tough even today I still feel the urges to just drown in the bottle again and not have to think or worry about what makes life hard. I'm thankful for my wife, she got me going back to church and that's been huge for me.
Hey brother I know that feeling. I've lost friend's and family to this mess. Unless you've walked in those shoes people don't understand or can't hardly begin to comprehend the why's. I remember you posting about your son's passing, I hope and pray he is finally at peace with whatever was troubling him and that god has healed his hurt.
100%. This stuff brings back a lot of memories I sometimes wish I could forget forever.

Thanks for the kind words, Steven was an awesome person. Now that the drugs are not a part of him anymore I know he is at peace. He would have been 39 years old today.

Been messing around with the bouncer. Ordered a new trans pan from Summit with a drain plug. Need to plumb in a temp sensor, but not sure where yet.

Knocked out the winch tray with some old stuff I had. Nice doing just tube 90’s. Been a while since I’ve fabbed anything up. Slowly painting it with hammered black paint and a two inch roller. Surprisingly forgiving and covers up a lot. Has more of a super dark gray look which is what I really wanted.

Going to paint anything that’s blue with regular black spray paint including the coils. Need to set up bump stops and straps and redo a bit of wiring.

Self centering rear steer would be sweet, but I think I’d be happy just knowing when the rear is centered for now. Rigging up a rudder position sensor to the rear axle. Thinking I’ll use a bicycle brake cable attached to either the steering arm or cylinder and have the other end spring loaded so that it will keep some tension on the cable turning the other way. This should let me know exactly where the rear wheels are at all times without turning my head and guessing.

Miserable out there. Once it’s gets around 11 am even my garage is unbearable. Doesn’t cool off at night either. Hard to motivate haha

I should be up and going in the next few weeks. The Ford is getting regeared right now so I also want to mesh those good with the trailer before hauling a long time.

Dropped the F150 off last week to be regeared to 4.10 from 3.31. Was getting a little sluggish towing on 35’s with the added weight. Hopefully this will wake it up.

Swapped pans on the TH400 and used a lubelocker gasket. Had to cut a hole through the belly because aluminum pans are a bit thicker than the stock steel ones. Took some finagling with the filter, but finally no more leaks.

Changed the oil and swapped to a higher output fan, but I’m pretty sure I have air in the coolant so I’m trying to burp all that. No idea what I’m doing.
