Lots of Jeep updates to document, but super excited to get the Bilstein 8112/8100 on the Ford. It’s way overkill, but so far it’s made every aspect of driving better. Can’t wait to flog it in the dirt and tow with it. If they ever bring this tech to 14/16” coilovers it would be a game changer. Bumps and limits built right in.

Got the Ford regeared to 4.56 which goes well with the 35’s. Really woke it up and I’m even seeing an uptick in mpg. Rancho had the only reasonable aftermarket uppers that retained rubber style bushings. Having had JBAs, poly is way too harsh on small bumps on a daily driver for me.

Lots of Jeep stuff. Regeared to 4.88, which I feel is much better with 37’s than 35’s. The d-rated 37’s are only 5lbs heavier and this no name brand runs a hair more narrow which I like.

Inner c gussets, all control arms and track bars are Core4x4 with Johnny Joints on both ends. Ball joint deletes. Poly front axle bushings. Ended up using 3-5” lift bilstein shocks paired with a 2” front and 1.25” rear bump stop. For some reason that’s the perfect bump for these shocks. Needed longer free length coils, so grabbed some 2.5” Metal Cloak triple rates. Got an Adam’s front driveshaft to clear the exhaust. Added JL front calipers/rotors. Trimmed the diff covers and track bars to clear at full stuff. Extended the sway bar links and diff breathers. Cycled everything a million times, did a garage alignment and it’s good to go!
