Yes, but I want ALL the acronyms.
There's more, SRS air bag, GPS, MPG...
Plus, to be a TRD, it's got to be an SR5.

Throwing a couple hundred pounds in the back of a pickup to unload later is hardly what I would consider any form of work.

Thats where an 8ft bed comes in handy.

I know a guy earning an 8 figure income that drives a fully loaded GMC Sierra Regular Cab everyday to work. And has a garage with cars stacked to the ceiling on lifts ( Corvettes, Mustangs, & pickup trucks). Big deal? what is your point? Not everyone is going to bow down and suck you off since you have a double cab.

Your not better than anyone else because you drive a Double Cab. Get off your high horse. Some people like regular & access cabs just as much. Pickups were never meant to be kid haulers. Go buy a POS Dodge minivan and throw your car seats in that if your income is so high you can afford another car. Hopefully you will have enough room for the car seats and a stack of grocerys from your local price club.

Me too. My favorite truck is a regular cab.

^ This. If you feel the need to post a number on the internet you have so much small penis syndrome that no amount of Tacoma will help you.

    Just a few minor things.
RC Tacoma's just don't look right, IMO. AC Tacoma's are just a tease. Well, ALL AC trucks for that matter. DC is where it's at. This is my first Tacoma and second DC truck. Is there an advantage to having a RC/AC vs. DC? The only reason I could ever see getting the former would be from a financial standpoint. Anyway, Happy Saturday People.

You know I was done with this thread yesterday when it got overrun by all the bed wetters. But you've inspired me to ask, exactly what would you consider "real work" useage to be with a Tacoma?

Because most "Real Work" I see out here in California is done with these trucks everyday being used for Lawn Service, Pest Service, Pool Service, Cable and Dish, Communication companies etc...

I've used my Tacoma to take shit to the dump, haul groceries and my kids Radio Flyer. A member here stated the 5' box was useless, and I simply pointed out that it's not if the truck could be used in a business atmosphere where a living could be made. I don't constitute that as "useless" but I can see why some might find it that way.

If I'm hauling anything bigger than what can fit in the 5' box, I'm a) either getting it delivered, b) renting a U-haul F-150 for $19/day or c) Using my FIL's 8x12 dump trailer.

Was it? Oh well. Guess I was just lucky to find such a cheap truck. Or maybe I like the idea of getting more for less. Four wheel drive wasn't worth an extra 5k to me. Now stop teasing me with your expensive AC before my DC pisses all over itself. :jerkoff:

It's okay no need to get defensive if you just can't afford it :
The only reason you wouldn't get something like that is financial right?

Got me there. I couldn't afford the 4x4. But the extra cab does keep me out of the rain and cold. Much better than that cardboard box and park bench. ;)
