I miss my 1st Gen 2004 single cab 2.4 Tacoma. My wife does not. Therefore I now have a 2015 DC Tacoma.

I like the new truck, but I still miss my little guy.

Just got my third DC. I couldn't fit a weeks worth of groceries in an access cab, never mind my waders, shotgun, and duck hunting gear.

A little of this and a little of that.
I like my DC, but if it was just me, I'd have a RC 4X4 in a minute.

I was pondering this today. Which one would you choose IF you were to drive a Tundra and why? (Not, "Would you drive a Tundra")

    The better coast
    DC.

    But that's because it's blue.

But but mostly because I like the airspace (always dricen 4 door vehicles and the DC gives me enough air room)

I would go DC Tacoma over an account though.

I'm confused. You said bllue DC but because of airspace? The Crewcab is more spacious. So are you saying the DC (not crewcab) Tundra is enough room for a 4 door?

I personally like the longer bed. It's like having a V8 DCLB Tacoma, but with more features!

I would go with the DC.. The crew cab back door looks oddly big. And well I also like the long bed

The DC is enough airspace I should say. And I don't like the way the cc looks.

The back door does look huge, the Tundra CC's I would compare to the F150 crew cab. Not sure which one is technically bigger.
Just like the Tacoma looks best in AC, I think the Tundra looks best in DCLB Rather than CCSB. It looks sportier. I'd love to supercharge one.

Pick up trucks are like shirt pockets.....Once you've had one, it's difficult to get along without 'em.....Double cabs are the same way. I had one, got a truck with a regular cab and couldn't wait to get rid of it and get my "space" back. I wouldn't consider being WITHOUT a double cab in the future.

For my current lifestyle with my kids grown and out, double cab; if the backseat was gonna be occupied by people on a regular basis, I'd go crew cab. I like the looks of the double cab much better than the crew cab. Funny I find this post/question now, I literally just pondered over this question looking at Tundras at the dealer yesterday.

I have to go with a four door truck because I have kids and all they do is get bigger and bring more shit with them as the grow. If it were me and my wife and maybe a dog it would be an access cab or dc in the tundra example above. Hands down. Although I would know if Junior came along it would be up to a four door crew cab

If the double cab could have the power rear window OR the crew cab could have at least a 6 ft bed, a Tundra would be my next truck.
