5100's set at 2.5", toytec AAL, DIY AUX port, broken mirror fix, temp/compass fix (twice), rattle-can gunmetal sport rims, debadged doors, fog-light anytime mod, DTRL mod, rear differential breather mod, drop in K&N air filter
Did you have to do any trimming to fit these on? I have billie's set at 2.5" up front and toytec AAL in rear and I found a great deal on bfg mud-terrains 285/75/16 but I want to make sure they fit. And what kind of backspacing are you using with these

Yeah I had to trim. I trimmed a fair amount inside the fenders, and I really need to chop the body mount. I still rub there at full stuff with the wheel cranked. I don't think anything smaller that 285s belong on our trucks, I think it's well worth the trimming. My wheels are 16x8 with 4.5" backspacing.

I can't disagree with you there... my 265/70/17 look alright but I can't wait to get the 285's on there. Thanks for the info and I'm hoping my truck will look more like yours after i get these new tires.

I just bought wheels last month 16 x 8, -0- offset whihc equals 4" backspacking. This shit kind of defies logic for me so bear with me.
It would seem to me that if you have 4.5" backspacing your wheels would be sucked in closer to the truck where as mine at 4" backspacing would stick out 1/2" further.
Does that mean I would have less trimming to do because of that 1/2" fifference in backspacing?????
