Yep almost perfectly level right at 3 inches now, an the uppers in my eyes were necessary although plenty of people say you can still get by with out them. An well I'm not looking to "get by" so I did them and am very glad they are in there now.

Very nice, is he living in the VCU district or just outside of it? Great school that's for sure. Also great level 1 trauma center(have to fly patients there). I work in northern Va. as a Firefighter/emt.

Lmao. Well.. I guess this is what I'm going with. 5100s all around. 887's 285/75/16 Wildpeak MT01s and Hs AAL. My tire shop said they might rub on factory uca. I am using my OR 16in wheels.

That should put you just over 2 inches, right at the UCA threshold.

With the Stock rims? My fiancé know about tacoma world... she's knows when I visit things go from $ to $$$$. I have a pro grill coming and 5100s kit. But I kindly remind her that she's wearing king suspension set up on her ring finger... still doesn't work. Haha

Wait and see when they mount them. I'm running the 4runner Pro wheels which I believe are -4 offset so they push out a little further than the stock OR which I believe are at -12.

great looking lift!! I think I will actually go this route; cost effective, practical, and looks awesome. Question though; what is the difference between the 887 and 888? (The Height?)

    Thanks!

Aas far as I know the 885, 887 and 888 all have the same spring rate, only the 887 and 888 are taller which help give more lift. The below link from Headstrong regarding OME springs will give you an approximation of how much lift you'll get from each spring.

    http://www.headstrongoffroad.com/uploads/1/1/8/4/11846658/lift_guide_shock_and_coil_selection.pdf

Keep in mind anything over 2 inches will probably require aftermarket UCA's to get a decent alignment which would almost double the cost of my particular lift choice, that's why I tried to keep it below 2 inches.

That's a nice little write-up on a sub $900 lift with decent components and no functional compromises...thanks!

looks great! as a few have already started, this might be the route i'm taking. do the different leaf packs or AALs give you different lift height as well? such as the one you went with or the headstrong leaf pack.
