Sounds scary. Am I reading correctly that you literally bake the headlight assembly?

Rims and tires probably aren't happening until 2020, but yes.

Yup and it's a low cost mod. I've got one of opened up now from an extra set of headlights I bought on ebay so not rushed. Just wait until the wife is out of the house before you bake 'em. :D

Neither of those have chrome besides the front emblem which I can't switch out due to the TSS sensor.

Nice! I went the debadging route on mine. Going to buy a new grill and get body-color bumper caps

Love the look of the blacked out Tacoma. I have a red Tacoma that also came with the chrome rear bumper. I am looking to order the set of end caps you bought, but I was wondering how close the black matches the black in the original bumper. I see the pictures you posted, but I was wondering if you have any where the sun is shining on the bumper. Just trying to make sure it looks good before I buy. Thanks!

I debadged and have a ton of glue left. I tried Olive Oil, but it's tough to get out.

I'm trying to avoid goo gone, I've redr it can damage the clear coat. Even though I used it on my Mustang GT and Corvette.

The black ones I linked match pretty well. They are a matte black so not glossy.

I just used Goo Gone a few days ago. It's fine. Wash afterwards. Steer clear of Goo Off, so I've heard.

I used this to get the bulk of the adhesive off: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074N7GDS6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Once I got that off, then I cleaned it up with Goo Gone and ran through a wash to make sure I got the residue off.
