Both the pooling of oil over a valve guide and a PCV are the culprits

I’m really curious about that, have you seen any good diagrams or information showing which parts? This seems like it would be easy enough to add a temporary on and off bleeder line to that...

If you drilled for sliders just find a way to make those points rust faster. Turn those drill holes into rust holes.

Definitely a topic for another thread, but it’s going to be anywhere a slider touches the frame, even the bolt ons.

Oh great, so now Toyota is not going to recommend driving on certain public paved roads with greater than a 30% grade in San Francisco, Pittsburgh or Hawaii- post #94

Anywhere metal touches metal with a minute gap will be rust stained if salt gets between them. Anyways, thats for the other thread...

I completely agree. Just saying they would push back about the holes. A little extra rust is just a little extra rust.

Good reason to have an offroad then, you don’t need the engine vacuum for full brake authority.

Here’s my Holmer-fixit idea for one of you guys to try on your truck and not mine: Put in a 12v oil pump and run its intake through a drilled and tapped hole on the rear valve cover to pump and divert pooled oil back into the drain in front of the cylinder heads. The pump can activate by a switch with steep angles or manually.
