I ran into the same issues when we were buying my wife's Forester XT. You can't lower the ones with the safety sense junk, so I got a premium sans the sensors so I could get coilovers. I'm sure you could recalibrate within certain parameters.

I didn't read this whole thread, but surely a level can't throw it that far off, if that's the case, hauling a trailer or a load in the bed would cause the sensors to act up?

There are times I wish I had the luxuries of the p&t package, OR package etc. Then other times I'm really glad I bought my basic ass SR...

I'd say the idiot is the one who makes mods on their truck and voids the warranty. Even funnier are the ones who make some stupid "mod" and then come here asking for help with it.--- "My truck now squeaks after lifting it. Can someone help?" Or "I put on these HUGE dumbass tires and now I have rubbing. Can someone help?"--- I'd say you're well beyond any type of help.

    No offense.

If we are beyond help, we'd all appreciate it if you'd stop trying.

Yes, if everyone else is. I don't appreciate being called an idiot for my opinion. I honestly don't care what people do to their trucks as long as they don't ask me to make the payments. Voiding a warranty over a mod seems insane.

By the way, lifting your truck or any other mod does NOT void the warranty.

This thread should be lumped in the with the "if you take your sway bar off you'll die" thread.

Nah. I'm good. I said that because someone on here posted that they had questioned corporate on the issue of lifting the 18's. Toyota said basically, you can, but if you fuck something up, we reserve the right to tell you to go pound sand when you try to warranty it, cause we told you don't do it.
