Dealership Buyback?

I got a call from the dealership last week saying they were interested in buying back my truck. The person on the phone said inventory was low and they were offering pretty good prices. I'm skeptical, but it may be worth considering.

Have any of ya'll heard the same and taken your truck in for the appraisal? If so, was the offering pretty much on par with the NADA value?

Andy nailed it. Not only phone calls, but I've gotten this pitch via snail mail. Routine practice.

 

I get a letter in the maile every few months saying the same. They even go as far as to put a sticky note on the letter that looks handwritten but clearly printed) and says something to the effect of "get this truck ASAP". It's just a gimmick to get you in and make you feel good.

 

They can have my truck for $30,000...lol

 

Do a search this happens all the time. No offense but your truck is nothing special...................

 

Just wait until they quote you that "good" price.
