    How much does a dealership usually tack on in fees, taxes, etc? For example, if a sticker price is 11k, is the total price 13k? I'm from California so I figure I would have to pay at least 1k just for taxes.

    Usually most of the fees are for the tax, title and registration for your state. Check the local DMV site for those fees. When I lived up near Sacramento I think the local sales tax was around 7.5%, not sure about LA though. Some dealerships will also have a document processing fee of $100 or so.
