I have had 4 tsb's done on my 2010 with no questions asked. I say

Call Toyota's 800 customer care number and complain
    Goto a different dealer
    Complain, complain, complain

"The squeaky wheel gets the grease", I'll be dammed if I pay 30,000 for a truck, that's less than a year old, and not expect it to be perfect. The dealership is not my friend and I try to get everything I can out of them.

tsb is not a recall. the general rule is if they reproduce this issue, they have a protocol laid out on how to fix it via the tsb. tsbs usually result from a high frequency of calls to the tech line and warranty work for a certain issue where the standard shop manual protocols don't necessarily apply. that's it. there can be leniency sometimes, where they will take your word for it, but like i said just because there is a tsb, and you tell them you have this issue, they have to reproduce it for the work to be done.

Yea.. man... "can not duplicate customer complaint" will get you.

People coming in and talking about TSBs and talking using language used in the TSB might tip off a good dealer to make sure to check extra hard for your complaints. They want to give you good service, but they can't do that if they put toyota out of business giving you free leaf springs because you "want" them.

Some places are looking to put Toyota out of business however. Find one of them. They'll throw anything on there. Hell, Dealer I used to work at, we'd bill the customer for fixing crash damage then bill the manufacturer on warranty.
    Find one of those places.

Well how the hell can I trust them when I take my truck in to get rattling fixed (had the problem driving in the parking lot) and get a "cannot duplicate"....but the problem is there when I leave the complex? I love my truck, but all the shaking and rattling in the dash (bad this morning - and a new spot...frick!) makes me so angry in the morning. I didn't spend $27k plus warranty and extended maintenance in April only to have it make MORE noise than my 12 year old Jeep Cherokee did before I bought this truck....and my Jeep didn't start making noise until I was at about 175k miles.

    I'm just frustrated.
