Nah, I enjoy the MT too much plus I like the interior of the Taco better than the 4Runner. There are times I just wish the rear seat was larger. More accurately my GF's 15 y/o wishes the rear seat was larger LOL!

I got the same in the mail from the dealership I bought my 17 from last August.
It was a different salesman than who I bought my truck from. I called and asked for the salesman that sent me the letter. He wasn't in but my salesman was.
I spoke to him and he said throw that paper away. He said it's a new salesman fishing. Lol. He said it's a great time to trade in if you're ready to but there isn't any trucks. They were going to give me a 2021 with everything I have but he said they don't have one on the lot and have a hard time finding them.

On a side note: a friend of mine has a 2012 dcsb with 50,000 miles. The dealerships are offering her anywhere between $24,000 and $26,000. But they can't find what she wants.

Pump and dump the GF and get one with no kids - instead of the tacoma!

LOL! Nah, he's a good kid, plus on longer trips we generally take my crew-cab Silverado :burnrubber:

Just signed papers yesterday to sell my 2wd 2017 off-road for $1500 less than I paid 4 1/2 years and 50k miles ago. So not a bad deal. Plus I got tax savings on 31k of trade in which came out to 2800 so all in not too bad of a deal. Plus I get 4wd and 6MT off-road with tech and premium package which mine didn’t have

The dealership I purchased my 2018 TRD Sport has been sending me e-mails about how much they would offer me for my Tacoma ever since it was about a year.
It's just typical car dealer promotional bullshit.

My purchase from out of state was like this. I wasn't;t going to trade in my old truck, figured it wouldn't be worth it. Ended up sending them pics and such and they offered me $100 more than what I had paid for it, so I traded it in. When I got there to pick t up there was no BS or anything.

Yeah I wanted to get into something 4wd after we moved from Texas to the PNW, so worked out in my favor for sure. Wasn’t like I traded straight across or anything for the new truck, but with trade in values so high right now, I wasn’t ever going to get more for my truck than now. I checked 6 months ago when we moved and kbb trade in value was 6k less than I got now

It would seem that the price of the new one is determinative of whether it is a fair deal.

I've been there a time or two, it's in the numbers, learned not to get into a monthly payment game, that's when the KY gets put back in the drawer. Now it's trying to get pin point numbers what your trade is and the selling of the new. My experience is the sales/purchase contact look different. Meaning what is before you on the floor sometimes looks different than the finance office. That's the place your pants disappear.
