After the original Spring under conversion i was not happy with rear lift on truck. I decided to do a shackle flip which raised rear 2 inches gave me lots of "Up Travel" and 2 inches more droop. No need for limit straps as i shortened the rear driveshaft 1 cm. The truck now sits level with bed loads of 800 to 1000 lbs. flex is incredible!!!

Looks really interesting. Lot's of flex!

Did you build the shackle flip kit yourself? What kind of shackle hanger is that? I see you have custom shock mounts... Do those go through the composite bed?

    Thanks.

Yes i built hangars and upper mount myself. The custom shock mount does go through the bed and its from Defined Engineering. I filled up the holes and insyalled the ABS plastic liners.

Down travel is limited by the springs and shackles the shock still has1.5 inches to extend at full droop. As the axle moves forward it compressed the drive shaft fully so it was shortened 1cm to prevent drive shaft bottoming out.

After shackle flip it now has the stance i need and will be almost level with load. It was sagging badly with load on original spring under conversion.

Built for a friend in South America to drive the hundreds of miles of severe terrain including gravel roads with huge potholes to muddy wet water holes in the Jungle. Truck leaves Florida next week.
