Just get what you want, but the base prices of the sport and OR are the same. Check the sticky at the top...

Thanks. I'm on the fence too. My scenario: 95% street driving with about 4-6 camping trips (mostly paved roads) per year. I don't plan on purposely going off-roading for fun. But for the price, I see the value in going with the OR over the Sport. Although I am one of those that does like the scoop on the Sport. Either way I'm going with 4x4

I was torn between the three choices.
Limited= I liked the leather heated seats but did not want the painted fenders and hated the chrome stuff.
Sport = I like all the fancy extras but again I did not want a fake scoop or painted fenders. I drive on a mile and 1/2 of gravel before my driveway.
OR was my choice. I upgraded to the fancy package and got exactly what I wanted.
Now its just a waiting game. Toyota wasn't expecting this truck to be as hot as it is and they are WAY behind. I'm looking at December before it comes in.

Thought I was going sport all the way until I drove it and couldn't get over the mailbox left on the hood. Looks a lot difference when you drive it.

I had a Sport in 2012, Skewp and all. Would not own again.

I only wish the leather was available in the TRD trucks.

    Otherwise, in gen3. It's DCSBTRDORSSM.

I decided on the OR model as a few times a year I will travel from Texas to the FAR NORTH of Canada. I wanted the locking differential because in the far north with snow and snow storms; I will need the locking differential if I get stuck in some obscure place. The locking differential is like the old time Posi-Track where both rear wheels turn in unison: greatly helping get unstuck, but making steering very hard to do. You don't want it engaged on the highway, but it will save your butt if you happen to get stuck on some road that has NOT been plowed or has been blown over with a huge snow bank. I know many of you travel in snow all the time and the SPORT would be great, but sometimes in the far north I am driving down some stupid goat trail that I have not been on in the summer time, and a huge snow storm has covered the road and I would have NO IDEA how deep the snow is. I am also interested in trying out the CRAWL CONTROL; and giving it a real test.

I'm definitely going with the OR, ordering tomorrow, unless me and the dealer are world's apart on my trade in value. .. (which is a possibility)

I love the fake scoop, so if and when I get it if there's a BBP owner who likes the OR hood...

Be sure to drive the Sport before you decide. Having to look at the scoop from the front seat is a real deal breaker for me.

Yes...that and the fact you will be changing tires over to the BFGs means you are setting up for some capability.
