So I have been teetering around the idea of a few mods to do on my Tacoma, but I have some concern. Any input would be nice.

    1. A lift. Not sure what size I would want to go for concidering my fear of messing something up. Lifts look pretty cool but don't they require the purchase of new tires too? And how would it affect the performance of my Tacoma? I know biggers wheels mean more spinning and more gas. I dont get to take him off roading much but I like the look of a lift.

    2. I have the baseline model/MT. I want to install some foglights but I do not know how to do it or the right size to purchase.

    3. My truck is an 09 and there is a short somehwere that cause my cd player to shut off whenever it feels like it. But I was reading in my manual and it said something about if the dashboard gets hot underneath, the stereo will shut down. Any takes on this besides take it back to the dealer? I like to do this stuff on my own and thats where ya'lls expertise would be appreciated.

as far as #2 goes, you have to decide whether you want to pay $375+ for OEM toyo fog lights, or around $120 for aftermarket lights off of ebay? i bought the smoke aftermarkets on ebay and they're great quality. and they're all the same size ('05-'09). but if you go aftermarket you're gonna want to get an OEM fog light switch which will add about another $50 more or less. youll need the switch, 4 pigtails, and the harness. search ebay for the switch, i found mine new for $20 shipped. the harness and the pigtails you need to order from trdparts4u.com. most importantly, when you get ready to install pm me and ill give you VERY simple instructions on how to wire them so you can turn them on and off whenever. theres numerous how-to's out there and theyre ALL confusing and MOST are WRONG!!!
