No problem @Landpirate I just deleted my reply w a quote as I didn't realize it needed to be clicked to read. In any case, you sound like you are on the right track now! For other readers, we just needed to rotate the locks 90 degrees. Voile! Enjoy!

So this is what I had:

Never even looked at how rotating the base 90* would drop the tabs into the track.

Base rotated 90*, click, tabs drop right in.

All lined up. Thanks for helping me through that bonehead moment.

Decked also works great as a table when tailgating. We had tacos with the tacos.

No products for that generation. 2005+ only at this time. We don't build a lot of kits for the older rides.

Has anyone come up with an elegant solution for the 110 power port on the passenger beside? I realize a low-profile extension cord will work. I was hoping for a bracket mount solution.

We haven't seen anything too fancy just yet. It would be interesting to see the power port flush mounted into the ammo box lids or somewhere else on the system. I'll post up if we stumble upon something like this

Has anyone figured out how to mount bike racks on top of the decked? Curious to see what people have done?

Yes I would like to see if there is an elegant solution. I don't want to lose access to the power. Maybe the ammo can could be converted to extend the port?

There isn’t really much to figure out... 99.9999999999% of the racks that sit in the bed still will. this only raises your bed a bit... don’t over complicate it.

You actually have MORE useable space to work with!

I did a google search for truck bed bike racks and did not see any the will not work!

Oh yea I have a solution with the MOB Town Risers which is fine but I am thinking something more low profile that I would use on the DECKED where I dont have to remove front wheels...

This obviously is a good solution -- https://www.yakima.com/bedrock-hd

Yea i know there are lots of options just didnt know how some would be mountable to the DECKED system itself. But thinking about it since I have a short bed I have to do something that sits above the bed because of the length of the bike.. i.e., cross bar solution with lockable rack. Thank!

That would be a possible solution. You could modify the ammo cans to allow for a power port to be installed and then extend the wiring harness.

We haven't seen it done just yet but I'll be sure to post photos if we do

I may have found a new DECKED customer over the weekend. I was putting things away in my DECKED system. A guy parked behind me saw it and came over to ask about it. He is a carpenter and very interested in the storage solution. I gave him the rundown and a little demonstration. It sounded like he was going to check it out for his own pickup truck.

    You're welcome. ;) It's not a hard sell with a quality product.

WHAT IS HDPE AND WHY DO YOU USE IT?

DECKED spent 18 months investigating materials that would work. HDPE is a common material that, when formed with DECKED’s proprietary tools and process, results in an unusually durable, rigid and weatherproof system. We add a UV enhancer to the material to protect it from the sun’s harmful rays. When this material is precision formed, meticulously engineered, and supported by a steel sub frame, the result is DECKED.
