Hey, great that you got your system installed. The setup looks good. We would love to know what quality control issues you had so that we can fix them.

Is there a system built for another truck that can be modded or will fit the 05-15 tacomas? I find used decked systems for F150s and short bed trucks often on Craigslist. Or is there an option of buying the deck portion without the drawers?

This is a complicated question. You cannot use a full sized system to put into a Tacoma. Unfortunately, the drawers from the full sized system would be too wide. That being said, you could possibly find a mid-sized system that could be modified. You would need to make sure that it was the correct bed length. There are a lot of factors that go into retrofitting a used system, and it would never fit perfectly. At DECKED, we would not recommend it, but that isn't to say that it can't be done.

What's the difference in the 19+ model and the older decked versions for 18-?

Sorry for the delay on replying here. The only difference would be how we cut the top of the DECKED system to fit the model year of the truck. While we have made minor tweaks and changes to the DECKED system over the past few years, the actual system is the same if you order it for a 1999 pickup or a 2019 pickup.

Unfortunately, we do not have plans to produce a Gen 1 Tacoma model. Not saying that it will never happen, but it is not in our current plan.

Hey Decked, love my system. Mainly carrying things for the truck and a few things to live out of if needed.

@DECKEDUSA It's difficult in some of the pictures to tell if a truck has a SB vs LB. I have a LB and want to see how much bed space is lost, if any, near the tailgate with the LB system. I think the pic in post #90 is a LB, but not sure.

Your system is going to end about 6" from the tailgate. The mid-size long bed system is 5'8" and depending on the gen of your Tacoma, the lb is roughly 6'2"

Man, so I picked up a used Decked. Love it for what its for.
I went to order some dividers, a cross box and new drawganizer thing. $80 of accessories, $40 shipping? Does that sound correct?

I don’t know about their website, but if you go to Amazon, it appears as though you can order the same products for the same price with free shipping.

We are working on a shipping solution. We are aware of the cost, and I assure you, it is not something that benefits us as a company. On the plus side, we have been able to do free shipping on DECKED systems, and if you are able to order your accessories at the same time, they will ship for free as well.
