    Did you have any issues of the plate that the bumpstops hit coming off? Or is it strong enough to hold the tab there like how you have it? I plan to install my straps this week and it seems that’s the more ideal spot to weld them to

    It's strong enough. I also welded unwelded spots on the stock bump pad to strengthen it. A lot of that pad is not welded from the factory, I guess because it wasn't meant to be pulled on, just pushed on.

    Sweet! I wanted to be sure & I will most likely add welds to where it’s not welded to strengthen it up. I’m doing a very similar strap setup to yours because it was the most useful one I found.

    Make sure the clevis, straps, and tabs are all in a straight line at full droop. The more straight up and down the better but you will run out of room because of the clearance to the bump stop mount on the frame. Get it as close to that mount as possible. My straps stretched about an inch as soon as I tightened everything up, so keep that in mind when picking where you will be welding on the clevis.

    Just to be sure, you used 9in straps and a 4 1/4in clevis correct?

    I had to change to 8" straps after they stretched.

    After I installed the Dirt King lca's, I had to change them out to 7" straps.

    Got my passenger one mounted! I had to go back and get 8in straps (the ones in the pic are 9in) because I maxed out the clevis. Thanks for all the help dude I really appreciate it! Nice rig btw

    Dana, quick question on the driveshaft bolts; are these for the flange at the transfer case/front drive shaft connection or the rear shaft/diff flange, or both?

    I cross threaded one of the bolts last time I put my driveshaft back in and need to grab a few so I can fix that next time it's out.

    These were for the front driveshaft to differential but they look to be the same type at all the flanges. I'll try and find out for sure. I'm not 100%, but after looking under my truck, they all look to be the same type. @jmanscotch

    I was thinking so too, but was having trouble confirming it. Even on parts websites, I get vague answer to their fitment. Appreciate the info.

    Yeah, I don't see any different part numbers for the rear propeller shaft.

    I just received my Trail Gear weld on diff guard for the 8.4 diff. I was also planning on welding a flat 3/16" small "skid plate" to the bottom of the diff where it drags at the lowest point.
