    Made some progress tonight with the retrofit.



    Test fit to set horizontal cut-off:





    Halo is mounted inside shroud. Shroud is epoxy'd on. Just waiting until tomorrow to let everything dry. I didn't expect the retrofit to be this damn time consuming.

    Looks great man! Def. takes a couple days to get that done but it's worth it!
    I had halos, they lasted a little more than a year and burnt out; hopefully you got a good batch.

    Thanks, I have their XSB "version 2". I hope mine lasts longer than that. It'll be a royal pain in the ass to get the shroud off and to get the halo off of the shroud.

    I'm praying for long halo life. :fingerscrossed:

    Good luck. I just dont plan on replacing mine. I still need to adjust the driver side beam a little but its not too bad.

    Its funny, the scariest part about all the steps in this retrofit is when I reinstall the bhlm bezel back into the clear lense without scratching the paint off. :bananadead:

    Nah thats easy. I wasnt verycareful and it didnt scratch at all. Only issue real issue i had was my lense got a little too hot and has tiny cracks on the face of it. But its not that noticeable

    Your right, it is easy, but for some reason I have a fobia about that step. I guess I just don't want to screw anything up on the last step.

    Thanks man! All this retrofit stuff was an impulse buy because I got a pretty good deal on some OEM take-off headlights. It's alot of tedius work, more than I thought it was going to be.
