It changed slightly. Got a tad bit louder. Not much though.

I swapped my 3/16" skids to 1/4". Those 3/16" just aren't capable of handling anything harder than the occasional rutted out/rocky sections on fire roads.

@tetten Mine are nowhere even close to being mangled like yours. I mean mine is worse than 3/16 steel because they're aluminum. At the time I bought them, I thought it would be enough. My IFS skid is fine, it's just the mid skid that's getting out of shape because that's usually where all the weight of my truck goes when it gets high centered. I'm thinking about ordering just a steel mid skid to replace it. It worries me because my new y-pipe is only about 1/2" away from it after I bent it back into shape. Wouldn't take much to bend it and make it touch the pipe.

Does the y-pipe still retain the catalytic converters?

You still retain the two front cats. The two rear get deleted with the y-pipe. The o2 sensors from the deleted rear cats get installed into the new y-pipe.

Actually, it will not throw a code because the rear o2 sensors are positioned before the cats, in the stock y-pipe. So it's still monitoring the same conditions in the URD pipe as it was stock. The cats that get deleted are after/downstream of the sensors.
After driving with the new setup yesterday, the truck does pull harder than before, with the new manifold spacer and the y-pipe. It starts to pull noticably from 2000 rpm's and up. I don't know if it's from the y-pipe or the IMS, or a combination of both.

I don't think Dana has had any power issues considering what he's already done wheeling his beast...;)

How do you like your ADS coils over the Icons? Worth the upgrade? I'm thinking about doing the same later on.

To be honest, the Icon's were just as smooth offroad. The progressive valving in the ADS coilovers feel a little less harsh on washboard type terrain. I think if I had the Icons revalved to my liking, they would probably feel the same.

I just got some used pelfreybilt steel skids (front/mid/rear) and the rear is made for a truck with an exhaust relocation. If I buy the Urd Y pipe will it work together?

I believe it's only the mid skid that matters. I have the URD offroad Y-pipe and it fits with my flat belly pelfrey skids. The skids don't have the box for the low hanging crossover pipe. But yeah, it works.

I feel exactly how you do. They're great a bumps but a little harsh over washboard stuff unless you're super aired down. I was planning on swapping them out to ADS but might just change the coil and have them revalved later on. Thanks!

I talked to SDHQ a while ago and they can service and revalve them per what you're requesting, or DSM does also.
