    Hi Folks,

had a bunch of folks asking to get my take on living with my shell... so decided to do a video on it and share my experience with living with it for 3+ years.
    Hope this is helpful!

Thanks for sharing! Can you give a little detail on the extra gasket material you used around the topper's rear window? Is this something you added or your installer? Also, did you ever end up running a tent on top?

Thoughts on the color match specifically?

    Good eye!
Yes... I added that myself. It really isnt needed but there are a couple of areas where my shell wasnt totally sealed from the elements. my thoughts were to plug those with some of the rubber adhesive hosing. But I had so much extra I decided to just add it to more places just because.

And yes, I did end up running a RTT. It was about 145lbs and the shell held it up well. Expect that my tent was too long and would hang over on the cab. the issue there was that when I would go around corners or especially on trails the flex between cab and bed would cause stress on the RTT. so I ended up mounting it to the cab since it could over hang the front of the truck. Well... its not perfect... but to the untrained eye it looks perfect. In the sun and at certain angles I can tell its a little off. mostly because of the sun. I think the sun has tired out the paint on the shell a bit quicker than on that truck. but this really is very minor and I never think about it. I am overall very happy with it.

Thank you! I just noticed you had extra gasket around the window and thought it was ironic as that's really the only place on my shell that doesn't have a great seal. I'll likely do the same thing.

Thanks for sharing the other video as well. My tent is a bit smaller as I used to have it on a mid-height bed rack, so I don't think I'll run into the same issue. I just haven't had a chance to throw it up on the new shell yet.

I'm really loving my 100XR, and I've only had it for a couple of weeks. The windoors are totally worth it, if you ever decided to swap one of your side windows out.

Yeah, the color match looks great in the video. Looks like 100% match on camera.

Your set up is dope! I’m looking at doing the decked and same shell set up. My dogs are pretty tall any chance you can give me an idea or measurement of the decked to the top of the cap interior? Thanks!

I can try and do a measurement tomorrow... but I can tell you that its gunna be tight. my bigger dog is a yellow lab (105lbs) and he has to duck when he is in there... he doesnt like it much. my other dog is about 65lbs and is happy in there.
For me its not a big deal since I am going to be moving towards a Vagabond camper within the next 10 months. SO that will be taller and give my other dog more room. till then, he just has to deal...

Thanks for hooking me up! My German Shepherd is pretty tall and my Rottie is lazy and around a 120lbs. I only have one car seat at the moment but the storage evaporated quickly with kids!

    Just one Poplock.
Thats exactly what happens with kids... With the addition of my second (now 2 months old) I realized quickly that if I dont get a drawer system in the truck id have no room for things I need... but I am happy with my set up over all :)

The DECKED system is 12" tall. Would love to see what your setup looks like once you get it installed!
